Renaissance antique Lighting was founded in 1998 at its original location in Newport R.I . We are a full service lighting company specializing in architectural lighting, hardware and restoration. We established our own line of historical reproduction lighting in 1995. Which has been influenced by our work in museums over the years .In 1998 we were one of the first to launch a web site devoted to lighting replication and restoration .

Renaissance Antique lighting manufactures it s own lighting fixtures to our standards .Made from heavy gauge brass. Finished and assembled by hand in our own shop. We are direct marketers, allowing us to sell to you at factory direct prices. Restoration of period homes has always been our passion . Our mission is to educate and assist customers with their projects.

Jon A DeAngelo is founder and president of Renaissance Antique Lighting has over 35 years experience in the restoration field . Jons scope of work includes many of Newports famed "summer cottages" , museums, churches and film studios. He was born and still lives in Newport County with his wife Alexandra and daughter Catherine.
